Born in 1969. Landesverteidigungsakademie Wien, Institut für Strategie und Sicherheitspolitik. Studied history at the University of Vienna; 1995 master’s degree, 1999 doctor’s degree. Since 2003 researcher at the National Defence Academy of the Austrian Armed Forces in the field of international security politics. He is member of the Editorial Advisory Circle of “Obrana a strategie”.
