John T. PLANT, Jr.
Born in 1949, John Plant is a retired U.S. Army officer and served in various operational and staff assignments in combat aviation, personnel, and defense planning. During the last 10 years of his Army career, he served in a variety of leadership positions in regional combatant commands and concluding his military career as the European Command Inspector General. From October 2001 to January 2007, Mr. Plant served as a defense analyst and advisor to the Government of the Czech Republic and assisted in the preparation and implementation of the Czech Republic Armed Forces Reform. From January 2007 to February 2008, Mr. Plant worked in support of the U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Office. Mr. Plant holds bachelors degree in political science and a masters degree in public administration from the University of Toledo, Ohio. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Army War College and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
