Born in 1964. He entered the French army in the sergeant rank. In 1988 he became a professional soldier. In 1991-2002 he served at tank regiments, finished officer’s studies and worked at the central administration of the ministry of defence. In 2002–2005 he studied in the Czech language at the National Institute of Eastern Languages and Civilisations in Paris and in 2004 he earned Master’s degree in European politics at Sorbona ouvelle – Paris III. In 2005–2006 he took a 6 month residency at the Institute for Strategic Studies at the University of Defence in Brno. Currently, he works at the French embassy in Prague and as an adviser at the Czech Ministry of Defence.
