Věra ŘIHÁČKOVÁ
Born in 1975. Věra Řiháčková completed her international relation studies at the Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, UK, and general anthropology at Faculty of Humanities, UK. Between 2001–2002 she studied at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. In January-February 2006 she completed the Fullbright Commission and the US Department of State program on international and security policy of the United States after September 11th, 2001, which took place at the Institute of Global Conflict and Cooperation, University of California. She is a graduate student of international relations at the Institute of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, UK. She serves as a research scientist at the Institute for European Policy EUROPEUM, focusing mainly on the institutional reform of the EU, European neighbourhood policy and security and counter-terrorist policy. Between 2002–2003 she was a chief editor of the Integrace magazine (www.integrace.cz).
