Human Rights 25 Years Later

The Václav Havel Library has the pleasure of inviting you to the forthcoming international conference Human Rights 25 Years Later. The conference will be held at the Prague Crossroads on 1 October in honour of the winner of the Václav Havel Human Rights Prize, who will participate, as will the prize’s two other finalists.

You can find the CVs of all three finalists here. The winner will be announced on 29 September.

At the conference we will welcome among others last year’s winner, Mr. Ales Bialiatsky, North Korean defector Sin Tong-hjok and Crimean Tatar leader Mustafa Dzhemilev.

This year’s conference will focus on the evaluation of the current situation in the world and in Eastern Europe; the role of leaders in the free and unfree worlds; and the threat of a new division of Europe and the world.
