University of Defence organizes the 3rd International Conference "Security Management and Society" that will be held under the auspices of the Deputy Minister of Defence for Personnel Michael Hrbata, M.Sc. in 16th and 17th May 2012 in Brno.

Aim and scope of the conference:

The scope of the conference is security, as well as crisis and emergency management in regional, national, and transnational systems of civil, asset and environmental security. These issues should be discussed in connection with the EU effort related to sustainable development. The goal of the Conference is to support development of science, research and education in the areas of risk, security, emergency, crisis, and recovery management. At the same time it aims at exchange of information among military experts, security services and other stakeholders in the area of security management.

Accommodation:

All participants of the Conference should reserve accommodation on their own (hotels in Brno).

Instructions for Participants:

You will find the Conference electronic registration form on the Conference in section REGISTRATION on the Conference website  you can also insert the abstracts of your papers. Conference fees are free of charge. All fees will be provided from the ESF Project entitled Education for the Security System of the State IP CZ 1.07/2.2.00/15.0070. Speakers and authors of those papers published in the Conference Proceedings will obtain Conference materials, the Proceedings in both printed and electronic form. Refreshment will be provided to all Conference participants. Selected full papers will be also published in the Economics and Management Journal!
