Tactics 2015
Department of Tactics, Faculty of Military Leadership, Univesity od Defence cordially invites to the international scientific conference Tactics 2015 - Units and Task Forces Tactical Activities in Future Operations.
The conference is organized under the auspices of Maj. Gen. Dipl. Eng. Ján Gurník, Land Forces Commander and Brig. Gen. prof. Dipl. Eng. Bohuslav Přikryl, Ph.D., Rector – Commander of the University of Defence.
Objectives of the conference:
- to estimate the current situation in the security environment and its effect on planned capabilities of the Army of the Czech Republic (ACR),
- to discuss the new tactical trends and approaches in context of the experiences from the civil war in Syria and the current combat operations in Iraq,
- to discuss the approaches to the design of organizational structures on the tactical level in course to acquisition of a new weapon systems,
- to assess the role of a combat support and combat support service units in future operations,
- to assess the technologies for enhancing the operational capabilities of forces and information support for commanders,
- initiate discussions about the cyber security issues and C4ISTAR development in context of the operational capabilities achievement,
- to discuss the approaches to the training and preparation of the key military personnel for fulfilling the operational tasks and implantation of Lessons Learned aspects,
- to discuss the training of military commanders in the national and international context.
