Born in 1975. Currently teaches at the University of Defence. Graduated at the Military Academy of Ground Forces in Vyškov (specialization: economics of national defence). In 2005, he successfully completed doctoral studies in the same field at the University of Defence in Brno. In 2013, he habilitated in the field of economics of national defence at the University of Defence in Brno. He specializes in the area of military spending and economic aspects of the arms trade.
