Dr. Yehoshua SOCOL

Born in 1965. Presently chairs the Academic Forum for Nuclear Awareness – a non-partisan organization promoting awareness and preparedness in the face of nuclear threats, and heads since 2007 Falcon Analytics consultancy firm specializing in risk management for integrated engineering systems. Ph.D. in the field of high-energy physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel). In 1994-1999 conducted his Ph.D. studies at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research near Geneva. Prior to that, he was trained as an armored forces lieutenant in the Soviet Union, and later became involved in several security-related projects in Israel, involving academic institutions, industry and government agencies.
