Born in 1955. In 1979 graduated from the Military College aimed on Signal Communication, post-gradual studies focused on SIGINT and COMINT finished in 1990. In 2018 he received the Ph.D. degree. He served as Director of Capability Planning Branch of the Czech General Staff. Now he works at the Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies of the University of Defence in Brno. He also worked at WEU Military Staff and at national delegation to NATO, both in Brussels. His areas of expertise are mainly: Defence planning, Capability Planning, EW and passive systems.
