MSc. Eliška LORENCOVÁ, Ph.D.
Born in 1984. In 2008 thanks to fellowship for foreign students she successfully accomplished Master of Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University, The Netherlands. Gained PhD in Environmental Studies at Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. Eliška works as researcher at the Department of Human Dimensions of Global Change at the Global Change Research Center, AS CR, v.v.i. In her research she focuses on security risks resulting from global environmental change, climate change impacts on ecosystem services as well as adaptation measures and strategies. She participates in EnviSec project – Integrated assessment of global change impacts on environmental security of the Czech Republic, project of the Security Research, Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. Within EnviSec project she particularly focuses on identification and classification of environmental security risks in the Czech Republic.
