RNDr. Svatava JANOUŠKOVÁ, Ph.D.

Born in 1976. She holds the Master´s degree in Environmental Science from the Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague and Ph.D. degree in Pedagogy (didactics of Chemistry) from the Faculty of Pedagogy Charles University in Prague. Since 2009 she has been working in Charles University Environment Center. Her main field of interest is development and use of sustainable development indicators on the national and local level. She cooperates on the development of sustainable development policies and programs, collaborates in development and implementation of sustainable development indicators in Czech cities (Local Agenda 21). She has been involved in several European research projects (e.g. ESDinds (2009–2011), BRAINPOoL (2011–2014). Since 2011 she has been working on the Ministry of the Interior-funded project - Integrated assessment of global change impacts on environmental security of the Czech Republic (EnviSec). She focuses on the indicators for the environmental risks assessment within this project. Besides research, she has taught at the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague.
