New Editorial Board appointed
In accordance with the provisions of Article 3, pp. 3 and 4 of the Statute of the Editorial Board of the Obrana a strategie journal, Rector-Commandant of the University of Defence Brigadier General prof. Ing. Bohuslav Přikryl, Ph.D. appointed on December 22, 2017 a new Editorial Board for the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019. This year's second meeting of the Editorial Board of the Obrana a strategie journal this year took place in the Hall of the Scientific Council of the University of Defence on Friday, 21 October, 2016. In addition to the regular evaluation of received articles we also discussed the forthcoming management system.

The first meeting of the Editorial Board of the Obrana a strategie journal this year took place in the Hall of the Scientific Council of the University of Defence, on Friday, 8. April, 2016. In addition to regular evaluation of received contributions, a new Editorial Board was appointed and there was a discussion of a possible inclusion of the journal into Scopus and Web of Science databases.
