Changes in editorial bodies
In accordance with Article 3, p. 4 and 7, of the Editorial Board Statute of Obrana a strategie, the Rector of the University of Defence, Brigadier General prof. Ing. Bohuslav Přikryl, Ph.D., appointed a new member of the Editorial Board Ing. Antonín Novotný (Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies, UoD), and a new secretary of the Editorial Board Mgr. Josef Kraus (Department of Lifelong Learning, UoD), with effect from July 1, 2013.

This year's first meeting of the Editorial Board of the Obrana a strategie journal took place in the Hall of the Scientific Council at the University of Defence in Brno on Friday, 12 April, 2013. The key points on the agenda included the preparation of the new issue of the journal, which should come out on the 15 June this year, and the discussion of the prospects of further development of the journal.
