This year's second meeting of the Editorial Board of the Defense & Strategy journal took place in the Hall of the Scientific Council at the University of Defence in Brno on Friday, October 25, 2013. The key points on the agenda included the preparation of the new issue of the journal, which should be published on the Internet on December 15, this year, and the discussion of the prospects of further development of the journal.

In accordance with Article 3, p. 4 and 7, of the Editorial Board Statute of Obrana a strategie, the Rector of the University of Defence, Brigadier General prof. Ing. Bohuslav Přikryl, Ph.D., appointed a new member of the Editorial Board Ing. Antonín Novotný (Centre for Security and Military Strategic Studies, UoD), and a new secretary of the Editorial Board Mgr. Josef Kraus (Department of Lifelong Learning, UoD), with effect from July 1, 2013.
